I am Iyanifa Ilari-Ikin, an Iyanifa, Iyalorisa, and devoted practitioner and teacher of Ìṣẹ̀ṣe, the ancestral spiritual tradition of the Yoruba people. My journey in the tradition began in childhood, growing into a lifelong commitment to learning, practising, and sharing the wisdom of our ancestors. Through my work, I seek to make the teachings of Ifá and Ìṣẹ̀ṣe more accessible to people who desire a deeper understanding of Yoruba spirituality, ancestral knowledge, and the principles that guide our relationship with the divine. My work focuses on spiritual education, traditional practices, consultations, and the preservation and transmission of indigenous Yoruba knowledge. I believe that our traditions deserve to be approached with respect, proper understanding, and a willingness to learn beyond misconceptions and surface-level interpretations.
